The Return Scaffolds form only activates if there are pending hires with scaffolds yet to be returned. If all scaffolds are already back or no valid hires exist, the user is notified and the form stays inactive—eliminating redundancy and ensuring accurate record management.
Once launched, the form auto-fills key details for the selected hire — including balance due, items already returned, quantities being returned now, and outstanding scaffolds. This structured capture supports accurate reconciliation and keeps financials and stock status in sync.
Users can specify reasons for unreturned scaffolds and include custom remarks to explain unique return scenarios. This adds transparency to incomplete or problematic returns, helping management assess losses, client responsibility, or trends needing attention.
