Only unprocessed, future-dated hires — where no scaffolds have been dispatched or payments confirmed — are eligible for deletion. This ensures data integrity by preventing accidental removal of active or historical records, while still allowing flexibility during early order stages.
When a record is deleted, Scaffolder instantly updates related data points across the system — including scaffold availability, order summaries, and hire logs. This automatic cleanup maintains accuracy and prevents lingering data from affecting future operations or reporting.
The delete interface only shows valid, deletable records using a filtered list based on hire status and dates. This minimizes error, reduces admin burden, and guides users to safely manage deletions without second-guessing eligibility.
